Hello, I'm the owner of AppleFree.org. Just wanted to thank you for all your negative emails (some positives too).Well we have an expression in Persian that Says: If you got a lot of negative feedbacks, that means you're doing it right. Also wanted to share one of the emails I got with the wonderful readers of AppleFree.org. So there we go: From: iGirl Appleawesome Subject: Comments You should really reconsider some or your arguments. 1) macs do get less virus\'s because the coding the system is built upon is a linux/unix knock off ( i hate to say it) so the coding is harder to hack. So do you know what this means? TORRENT TORRENT TORRENT 2) Mac may not be exactly a gaming PC but, who the fuck cares buy a playstation you motherfucker. 3) The service in every apple store is been far better then any of a pc store. 4)NO BLUE SCREENS OF DEATH 5) If a macbook air was hacked in 2 min, then any vista machine could be hacked in 1. 6) Do you find it odd that more PC owners have iPods more then anyone else? 7) PC\'s are cheap because they are built cheap, Macs are a higher price because they are built better? PC\'s cost effective? Not really when you have to factor in how long the fucking device will last, how much it will cost to repair. And at some point it will need to be repaired. It has less viruses because a virus writer DOES NOT want to waste his time and write a virus and affect 1% of people who have mac! He will write a virus for 99% of people who have Windows! So if you think about it, hackers and virus writers were helping Windows... 2) Yes mac is not a gaming PC FOR SURE. So what exactly is mac for? Browsing the internet and checking email (a PSP can do that too) and making stupid movie clips that you can't show in the real business world? Or maybe doing some iChat with it. That should be fun! How about making some stupid websites with iLife which again you can't really make money out of it! 3) Well it might be but I've never used any of PC services! If you are a little smart, you should be able to figure things out. It's the 21st century! :) 4) Yea you're right. No blue screen of death. Instead you guys have the Beach Ball Of Death. It's prettier I say but it doesn't give a CLUE of what's wrong in your mac! The whole system just locks up! At least the blue screen of death would give some info of why the PC has crashed. 5) Vista got hacked 1 day after and it WAS NOT a security hole in Windows itself. It was a security hole in Adobe Reader. So mac could be hacked this way too. And if you think about it, Vista DID NOT get hacked. Adobe caused it. And Ubuntu did not get hacked at all cuz they don't use Adobe Reader. They have their own PDF reader... 6) Well iPod is a different thing. I don't care about iPod. It's just a music player! 7) Again with the cheap and not cheap. There is difference between a product being sold cheap or a product being sold the right price. Now PCs have the right price. On the other hand macs NO WAY! And about the cost effective. If anything gets old in your PC, you just replace that part! But in mac, you trash the whole mac and buy a new one! About the repairing. As I said it's 21st century. If you can't figure out what's wrong with your computer, what do you know then? And yes KEEP DREAMING to see me in an Apple Store! Cuz my PC NEVER BREAKS DOWN!
