It seems that all the Apple products have only 1 year life cycle! They've been doing it for their Macs, iPods and now the iPhone. And amazingly this is THE ONLY company that does it!If you think about a PC, you don't trash it and buy a new one. You simply upgrade the graphic card for example. If you think about gaming consoles, they AT LEAST have 10 years of life cycle! Great example for gaming consoles is PlayStation 2. If Sony wanted to make one PlayStation every year, we would have had PlayStation 14 (PS1 = 1995), not PlayStation 3! They've made iPod in EVERY SINGLE shape, size and color and they are saying it's selling like CRAZY! Well yea you've made a new iPod EVER SINGLE FREAKING YEAR! If 10 people buy each clone of your same damn iPod and you have 10 iPods in different size, you just sold 100! You know what? How about making iPhone for every age? That's gonna be so damn COOL! And making it age restricted. So I have to buy iPhone 23 and next year on my birthday I HAVE TO buy iPhone 24! Making a new shape or color every single year DOES NOT mean that the device is very popular. It's based on how long a device can last and still people buy it because they love it!  |
